Using the option "Run this program after backup" doesn't work with bat files. However, when I use the call to the exe directly, it works. This is not sufficient for us since we want to run several executables with the bat file.

Why do bat files not work with this option? How can we make this feature work?

I see no problem running bat file like that and calling external programs from bat file. Try running your bat file separately to check that it works as required.

If you run your backup as scheduled program you must be sure that calling process has required prvileges to access the programs and if you use mapped network drives, then they may be not accessible to scheduled program.

Works perfectly fine outside Backup Magic.

Administrator rights should be sufficient.

You don't mention any details on how you run the program. If you schedule, then by default scheduled programs don't run under admin privileges, unless you manually specify the account under what it runs.

IF you use scheduler, then see this KB topic.
