When using incremental with keep old files, this happens:

run 1st incremental on Monday night. a full backup is done because its the first time.

run incremental on tuesday night. any modified or new files are copied, and old modified filed are renamed to filename.old.ext

Here is the problem:

Run incremental on Wed night. changed or new files are copied and overwrite tuesdays files. monday's files are kept with the .old
All tuesdays modified files are lost if they were modified again on wednesday.

Is there a way around this?

I really like this product, but these two issues are hard to work around.

I fixed the problem and will post update online soon. Please clarify your other report with variables, so I can check this before putting new file online. Thanks!
