BTW, there are some more issues with copying data from user profile. The safest would be to copy most stuff from

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name

because if you take only My Documents that does not include useful data like your Outlook Express e-mail boxes and address book.

However, since Microsoft has decided to store a lot of fast changing garbage (like Temp folder, web browser caches etc) in user profile folder, then you'll end up copying a lot of useless stuff. So there needs to be done some filtering about what is useful and what is not, if you decide to copy all from your user profile folder.

Of course you can copy everything you want. You can create a new group for each folder, on some cases this offers better flexibility than using include/exclude masks.

So you make several groups (see Groups menu):

Group 1: Copy your files from C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents

Group 2: Copy shared files from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents

Group 3: Etc.

but the folders are sunfolders of different folders i.e. one is in "my documents" and one is in "shared documents"

Thanks for getting back with me so soon...

Please see Tutorial | Examples topic in the documentation.

It may be better to copy your entire My Documents folder and exclude some subfolders that are not needed, if any.
