How can backup sets be deleted from the scroll-down menu ?

What exactly does not work? The MRU list only contains maximum 5 entries. If you open a file that is not listed, it will be added to the list as topmost item and the last item will be removed from the MRU list if there are 5 entries already there.

The list will be cleared by the program. When you open new files, old names from the list will be removed automatically. Maybe the next version will have separate command to clear the list, though.

Sorry, I mean the drop-down menu that lists recently used files (Changed in 1.5.1).
How can recently used files been deleted from that drop-down menu ?

What is scroll-down menu? If you mean group in backup set editor then there are commands in the Group menu as well as in the popup menu when you right-click the groups list.
