Will installation of new purchased version wipe out the old purchased version?

Since there is scant documentation of the new version, I would like to TRY the new fully paid version (upgrade), and revert back to the old version at will.

So will the new version coexist with the old?
Will the new version continue to read the updated pwa of old version, on demand?

So my questions reference testing rather than full committal.

Yes you can read old file many times when you open old file in read-only mode.

I understand that PWA is not backward compatible.

If I continue to use and maintain the old version for some time, can the new version be forced to read the old pwa file....on demand?

Another words, will the new version only read the old data file once, upon install? I want the new version to read old ver data file many times as I play with the new version....manually updating the new version on demand.

Thanks for your prompt attention.

The latest new version will coexist with old. However, once you open yourydata file in new version in read-write mode the file becomes unreadable in old version because file format has been changed to improve security. New version will prompt to open old file in read only mode by default to prevent accidental old data file upgrade.
